| What
is an Approximation? |
 |
An
approximation procedure means a bounch of mathematical methods for discrete
data processing, removing noise, and making analytic continuation for whole
continuous area of the data definition.
As a matter
of fact there cannot be one absolute definition because of very different
areas of implementation and diversity of using applications.
It makes sense
to divide the whole task for separate areas and do it step by step. This
supposes to be a series of articles devoted to the complicate area of scientific
activity. I hope everybody will see that it is quite serious task.
